BIO

Nelly Zagury presents an experience of femininity that transcends the orientalist imaginary: through drawing, painting, and sculpture, she unfolds a 'jewelry world' where women take center stage.

She studied jewelry design at HEAD, Haute Ecole d'art et de design in Geneva and graduated from HEAR, Haute Ecole des Arts du Rhin in Strasbourg.

Her work has been exhibited in institutions and galleries such as Selebe Yoon Dakar, Mash Gallery Los Angeles, The Chimney New York, MAD the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris and the Musée de l'Œuvre Notre-Dame, Strasbourg.

She has been resident at Poush (2024), Selebe Yoon, Dakar, Senegal (2023), Massa Stories, Agadir, Morocco (2022); Le Wonder, Paris, France (2022).

She lives in Paris where she teaches at la Haute Ecole de Joaillerie.
